Modern Material Handling Article: Raymond L.I.F.T. Program

The Raymond Corporation recently announced they are helping companies to upgrade their existing lift truck fleets by offering cash incentives to purchase new, more efficient equipment. Through the Raymond L.I.F.T. (Lift truck Incentive For Trade) program, warehouses and distribution centers will receive cash incentives for upgrading their existing Raymond and non-Raymond lift trucks that are 12 years old or older. Cash incentives vary depending on the make and model of the lift truck being traded.

“New lift trucks can enable companies to improve productivity and energy efficiency for reduced total cost of ownership,” said Joe Ginnetti, vice president of sales for The Raymond Corporation. “For example, a regenerative lowering feature, found on new Raymond 9000 Series Swing-Reach lift trucks, recharges the lift truck battery when the forks are lowered to increase battery life.”

Another important component of the L.I.F.T. program is recycling. Due to the high recyclability of the iron and steel from which lift trucks are constructed, up to 97% of each Raymond truck is recyclable. Trucks traded in through the Raymond L.I.F.T. program will be recycled.

Raymond and non-Raymond trucks can be traded in until March 31, 2010.

What is Customer Focus

It is both a philosophy and a process. It is the belief that the path to excellence can come only from seeing our company, our individual departments within the company, and ourselves through our customer's eyes. It is constantly asking ourselves: "Am I doing everything I can to help our customers acheive their goals". Customer Focus is the only way forward to becoming the best Materials Handling company in Southern California.
Have you ever felt as if your vendors or suppliers of services were only out to make a buck with no regard for your business needs?
Here at RHSI we have educated all our associates in the art of Customer Focus. Our philosophy is, what can we do to make YOUR OPERATION run better, smoother, and more efficient. From office personnel or to those you see on a day to day basis, our commitment to you is the RHSI policy.
The Customer Focus Difference: We are committed to looking at our business through your eyes.

Forklift Training:

Operators of powered industrial forklifts are required to be fully trained and employer certified-per OSHA regulations. As part of the regulation, "the employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation".

Employers like yourself need an effective and comprehensive training program to meet this OSHA regulation.

Raymond Handling Solutions, Inc. helps you meet and exceed OSHA standard 1910.178 by offering specialized and comprehensive training material and programs. Not only do we offer Forklift Training and Training the Trainer Programs, we also offer free CAL/OSHA compliance and defense services in California: Safety Documentation, Safety Inspections, Safety Training, and Safety Consultation.
